How do I know if my energy direct debit is too high?

Compare your monthly direct debit multiplied by 12 against the expected annual cost based on your house size and current Ofgem unit rates. If you're paying more than expected, you may have built up credit with your supplier.

What should I do if I'm overpaying?

Contact your energy supplier and ask them to review your direct debit. If you have built up credit, you can request a refund.
